Native of Spartanburg County, he was husband of Sylvia Childers Lynch and was a son of Kathleen William Lynch and Oscar Manning Lynch.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother are a son Junior Lynch of Moore, six sisters, Virginia Powell of lyman, Lula Humphries and Vangie Mayes of Spartanburg, Edith Horton of Terrace California, Judy Pearson of Pauline, and Sandra Bridwell of Reidville; a brother Clifford Lynch of Moore ; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1pm Friday in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, conducted by the Revs Jimmy Alman and John Lever.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
Memorials may be made to the Ed Lynch Memorial Fund, PO Box 160427, Boiling Springs, SC, 29316.
