Otis Nelson Lynch, Sr., 97, of Simpsonville, husband of the late Grace Winnie Lynch, died July 18, 2011.
Mr. Lynch served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by three sons, James "Bill" Lynch of West Columbia, George N. Lynch (Rhonda) of Easley, Joe Lynch of Laurens; a daughter, Virginia Smith (Willis) of Simpsonville; 29 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by two sons, Edgar Lynch and Otis Lynch, Jr.; and two daughters Rachael Lynch Burrell and Barbara Joyce Hiott; and two grandchildren, Scott Lynch and Tonya Hiott.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
