Jesse Wayne Hicks, 64, of Columbus passed away March 20, 2016 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills. He was the son of the late Virgil and Elizabeth Thompson Hicks and husband of the late Bessie Mae Bailey Hicks.
He was in the US Army, self-employed and a member of Bibleway Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Dale Greene, Charles Smith; four daughters, Michelle Godish, Margie Beavers, Michelle Bradley, Mary Ann Waters; a brother, Jimmy Hicks and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Don Hicks.
A graveside service will be held 11:00am Friday, March 25, 2016 at Bibleway Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors.
He was in the US Army, self-employed and a member of Bibleway Baptist Church.
