Tryon, NC - Franklin Theodore Gosnell, 62, of 5555 Peniel Road died April 11, 2008. A native of Polk County, NC, he was the son of the late Leonard Otis and Amelia Thompson Gosnell. He was a member of Byars Baptist Church and a logger.
He is survived by a son, Dale Gosnell of Tryon; two daughters, Kim Avery of Rayle, GA and Alicia Gosnell of Spartanburg; two brothers, Dean and Bobby Gosnell both of Tryon; two sisters, Helen Mills and Jean Gosnell both of Tryon; and three grandchildren, Alex, Ashley and Nathan.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Monday at Beulah Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the church conducted by Rev. Charles Arledge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home of Jean Gosnell, 80 Appletree Ln., Tryon.
