Lois Vera Lynch Smith, 80, formerly of Stribling Circle, Spartanburg, SC, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Born August 31, 1933, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Nonie Boyter Lynch and widow of Harold Dean Smith, Sr.

Mrs. Smith was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She especially liked cooking and flower gardening.

Survivors include her children, Harold Dean Smith, Jr. (Kathy) of Roebuck, SC, Jerry Wayne Smith (Doris), of Spartanburg, SC, Teresa S. Ellis (Tim) of Roebuck, SC, Travis Todd Smith (Amy) of Inman, SC; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Lewis Lynch of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Dorothy Moore of Roebuck, SC, and Nonie Blanton of Sumter, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by a brother, David Lynch.

Visitation will be 2:30-3:45 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by her grandson, the Rev. Derrick J. Smith. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
