Daughter of George and Lillian Dooley. She was mentioned as Mrs. Lois E. Rucker of Atlanta in her father's obituary.

She was first married to William Maxwell Rucker. They had one son, Eugene.
They divorced. She then married Theodore D. Doolittle on January 25, 1934 in Charlotte, NC.
Her son, Eugene, was living with his father and grandmother, Elizabeth Hoyle Rucker, in Georgia on the 1940s census.

Mrs. Theodore Doolittle
Mrs. Theodore Doolittle, 25, wife of Theodore Doolittle, formerly a resident of this city, died at 2:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon in Syracus, N.Y. following a lenghty illness with pneumonia.
Mrs. Doolittle was formerly Miss Lois Dooley of this city. She lived in Charlotte for many years prior to her marriage several years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore Doolittle; a son, Eugene Rucker Doolittle; two sisters, Mrs. W.W. James and Mrs. Lewis Watts, both of this city; two brothers, George W. and Horace Dooley of this city; and her step-mother, Mrs. George L. Dooley of this city.
Only Mrs. Doolittle's husband was at her bedside at the time of her death. Mrs. Watts made a hurried trip to Syracuse last week upon learning of the critical illness of her sister. She left several days ago. confident that her siter was on the road to recovery and had just returned to Charlotte.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night. The body will arrive in this city Thursday morning.
