Obit: Formerly from Rochester, MI, Clarence Gary Lynch, aka Gary, was born on December 15, 1943 to Clarence & Muriel Lynch. He graduated from Rochester High School, attended Wolverine School of Trades, and then obtained a position in Motor Test at General Motors. His work there was well-respected and he even earned the maximum financial award from GM in 1982 for a procedure that saved the company millions of dollars. He wed Marilyn S. Van Conant on June 29, 1963.

He loved History and believed in experiences more than things, but he collected items that he held dear. He traveled all over the states with his family. He was treasured by both of his parents, as evidenced by the places that they took him and the mountains mementos that they kept for him. He loved both of his children and expected the best from them. He loved his wife and enjoyed watching her succeed at her endeavors.

Retiring early, he traveled with Marilyn, eventually settling twice in the Hendersonville, NC area, where they owned & managed a trailer park. Although he enjoyed the mountains of NC, a quiet retirement was not to be. They lived in numerous homes in FL, NC, and back in MI for a while.

He is survived by his mother, Muriel Lynch, his son, David (Veronica) Lynch, his daughter, Dawn Armstrong, as well as 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was an only child. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence Lynch, and a son, Michael Lynch. Interment is supposed to be in Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills, MI.
