James W. Siddall Sr., 85, of Otisco, passed away Monday at The Centers at St. Camillus. A lifetime resident of the central New York area, he was a graduate of Camillus High School and Auburn Community College. Jim was employed by Carrier Corp. for 35 years. He was also a communicant of St. Mary's of the Lake in Skaneateles where he was an active parishioner. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping and pitch league. A very faithful and devoted man, he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Jim was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, the former Norma Hart, in 2011; and brother, Frederick J. Siddall Jr. Surviving are his children, Kathleen Siddall of Skaneateles Falls, James (Debbie) Siddall Jr. of Camillus, Sarah (Peter) Skvarch of Syracuse, Rebecca Siddall (Michael Bonno) of Sterling Heights, MI, J. Michael (Susan) Siddall of Marcellus, Timothy (Shelby) Siddall of Baldwinsville and Joseph (Diana) Siddall of Allen, TX; sisters, Mary Lorusso of Jordan, NY and Barbara (Bill) Hassett of Marcellus;13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, November 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, November 21 in St. Mary's of the Lake Church, Skaneateles. Jim will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, Skaneateles. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities, 1654 W. Onondaga St., Syracuse, NY 13204 or to St. Mary's of the Lake Human Development, 81 Jordan St., Skaneateles, NY 13152.
