Ruby L. Lynch, 74, of 527 Whitten Road passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014. She was the wife of Melvin Herman Lynch of the home and the daughter of the late James C. and Margaret J. Gossett Lynch. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Laurens and was retired owner/operator of Ruby's Clothing Store in Clinton and Rock Hill, SC.
Survivors also include a son, Herman "Randy" Randolph Lynch of Clinton; two daughters, Debra L. Gibbs and Rhonda Kay Lynch both of Laurens; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Renee Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Leon Bible officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 PM prior to the funeral. The interment will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Roebuck.
The family is at her daughter's home, Rhonda Lynch, 196 E Lake Drive, Laurens, SC.

Melvin Herman Lynch, 81, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Joe Daniel and Annie Lynch and the husband of the late Ruby Lucinda Lynch. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors also include two daughters, Debra Gibbs of Rock Hill and Rhonda Lynch (Michael) of Laurens; a son, Randy Lynch of Clinton; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. The last surviving member of his family, he was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Renee Williams.
The family will receive friends from 6:30PM until 8:30PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the home of his granddaughter, 565 Sedona Court Chesnee 29323. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Leon Bible officiating.
