Helen (Lynch) Pirkle, 89, widow of Lowell Pirkle, died August 5, 2012 at McCall Hospice House.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Laxton Lynch and Martha Lynch, she was retired employee of Palmetto Garment after 33 years.

Surviving are two sons, Lonnie Pirkle and wife Jane of the home and Larry Pirkle of Taylors; one brother David Lynch of Greenville; five grandchildren, Cheryl Walker, Dean Pirkle, Larry B. Pirkle, Jr., Ashley Prikle, and Brian Deyton; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pirkle was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Pirkle, a brother Bill Lynch and a granddaughter Carol Pirkle.

Funeral services were held 2 P.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Marcus Buckley. Burial followed in Taylors First Baptist Church cemetery.

Visitation was held 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Mortuary.
