Mrs Mildred Sue West 60 widow of Simon West died Monday night at 8:30 at the home of her daughter Mrs W R Crisp in Huntersville township. She had been in failing health for some time.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1pm at the Moore Church of Christ in Spartanburg County. The pastor, the Rev Mooreland, will officiate, assisted by the Rev Dodson. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Fite Funeral home in Belmont until this afternoon at 4pm when it will be moved to the home of her brother J P Lynch 48 Edgemont Ave in Belmont.
Mrs Wet was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs O N Lynch of Polk County and was born May 31, 1886. She was twice married. Surviving are two daughters and two sons: Mrs W.R Crisp of Huntersville, Mrs Maggie Fortenbury of Woodruff, J T Lowder (Lawter) of Huntersville and W B Lowder (Lawter) of Charlotte. Also surviving are a sister and four brothers: Mrs Lena Garrett, W W Thompson, Roland Lynch, all of Spartanburg; Jim P Lynch of Belmont, and J D Lynch of Enoree, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
