Bruner B. Beam, Jr., 82, of Moore, SC, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at his home.

Born April 19, 1922, in Ellenboro, NC, he was the son of the late Bruner B. Beam, Sr. and Maude Bess Beam. He was the husband of Annie (Miller) Johnson Beam of the home and was first married to the late Lillie (Westbrook) Beam.

Retired from Felters Parts in Roebuck, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moore where he was a Deacon and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of World War II.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Patricia B. Phillips of Florence; a step-daughter, Erlene Frady and her husband Calvin of Duncan; a step-son, Larry Johnson and his wife Lois of Moore; a brother, Earl Beam of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren, Susan Harbrecht, Alison Dozier, Terry Frady, Kim Sandlin, Karen Greer, and Corbitt Johnson; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia E. Beam; and two brothers, Marion J. Beam and Charles P. Beam.

Visitation was 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2005, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Alvin Burdette and the Rev. Tony Beam. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Gaffney.
