She was the daughter of Fred and Zena Hearrel O'Neal. She married Thomas Hulet Rice on Jan. 25, 1947 in Coalgate, OK, he preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 2004. She enjoyed flowers & gardening and a member of the Quilting club, member of the Eastern Star, and worked side by side with her husband on the farm in Clarita, OK. Survivors include daughter Carolyn and son Stephen. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her sister Clarita O'Neal, brothers Leo, Zelon and F. E. O'Neal. Services will be Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 at the United Methodist Church in Coalgate, Oklahoma. Rev. David Rowley and Rev. Bob Graham will officiate. Interment will follow at Moore Cemetery.

Mr. Rice died Oct. 1, 2004, at Ada. He was born July 15, 1920, at Florence, Ala., to Hulet Thomas and Rebecca Ruth Hall Rice.
He attended schools in Alabama, Madill and Wapanucka.
He was a cotton farmer and cattleman. He served as a medic in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a former member of Clarita Methodist Church and member of Coalgate Methodist Church since 1997.
He married Delores Fredena O'Neal Jan. 25, 1947, at Coalgate.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Hulet Thomas and Rebecca Ruth Hall Rice, and an infant sister, Myrtle Judith Rice.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Rice, of the home; two children, Carolyn Delsigne and husband Dwight, Coalgate, and Stephen Rice and wife Terry, Coalgate; four grandchildren, David Delsigne and wife Pamela, Macomb,
Christopher Delsigne, McAlester, Craig Rice and Kristen Rice, both of Coalgate; five great-grandchildren, Laura Delsigne, Claire Delsigne, Alec Delsigne, Paige Delsigne and Bridgett Delsigne; five brothers, W.P. Rice and
wife Billie, Coalgate, Warren Rice and wife Marion, Oklahoma City, Briggs Rice, Coalgate, Victor Rice and wife Jo, Ada, and Billy Bob Rice and wife Verna, Ada; two sisters, Faye Ruth Fleming and Gaile Lawrence, both of
Coalgate.
