Mildred Hefner was married to Ralph Williams and they lived several years at Fort Cobb and Anadarko where he was engaged in the gas and oil business.

Her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hefner, were well-known pioneers who homesteaded and operated farming and ranching interests west of Apache.

One daughter, Mrs. Charles Barker, Hobart and a sister and brother, Mrs. Ina Stapp, Lawton; and R.M. Hefner.

He attended school at Washita and Anadarko before graduating from the Fort Cobb high school. Married Edna Mildred Hefner in Lawton April 15, 1927 and made their home at Fort Cobb until 1937 when they moved to Anadarko. He operated a service station there for several years. He had been a resident of Memphis the past 15 years.
On August 16, 1966, he married Vivian Carter.
He was a member of the First Baptist church, Order of the Eastern Star, a 32nd degree Mason, member of Scottish Rite and the Khiva Temple Shrine in Amarillo.
Father of Mrs. Bernice Lee Barker of Houston.
Brother of Mrs. Ralph Frank, Carnegie; Mrs. Forrest Brownback; Mrs. Chet Glover, Mrs. Marvin Meek, and Burnis W. Williams, all of Fort Cobb
