Death takes Mack Dimple
Mack Ronald Dimple, 59, died early Saturday in a local hospital, where he had been a patient since Friday. He had a history of a recurrent coronary disorder.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Dimple, 331 Green Acres Drive; his mother Mrs. D. J. Casey of Seminole, Okla; a sister, Mrs Frank Crawford of Hobbs; and three brothers, M. A Dimple of Las Angles, Calif, V W Dimple of San Diego, Calif; and G E Dimple of Richmond, Calif.
Because of ill health, Mr Dimple retired in November of last year from the position of administrative assistant in the production department of the British-American Oil Co. and moved to Hobbs from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He had been employed by Gulf Oil Corp. and British-American Oil for 34 years. He had previously lived in Hobbs for a 10 year period leaving here in 1945.
Griffin Funeral Home announced that there will be no funeral services in Hobbs, but that cremation, at Mr. Dimple's request, will take place Tuesday morning at Fairview Crematory in Albuquerque.
