Services for Geneva Nena Belgard Cedars will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2009 in Simpson Baptist Church with Brother Jeremy Blocker officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mora under the direction of John Kramer & Son.

Geneva Nena Belgard Cedars, 54, of Simpson, passed away April 25, 2009 in her residence.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Earl Belgard and Eva Jolly Belgard; Cedars' infant daughter and two brothers, Rodney and Vernon Belgard.

Mrs. Cedars fought a long and couragious battle with cancer. She never lost her love and faith in her Savior.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 37 years, Carl Cedars of Simpson; two children, Allison Mae Cedars and Matthew Stephen Cedars both of Simpson; two brothers, Davis Earl Belgard and wife, Shirley of Pineville and Stanford Joel Belgard and wife, Christine of Alexandria; two sisters, Nona Belgard and Nina Belgard both of Pineville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Simpson Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Carl Cedars, Danny Cedars, Donald Collins, Darrin Collins, Tim Belgard, Brad Belgard. Honorary pallbearers will be Sal Ramirez, Brandon Flannery, Clyde Cedars and Terry Cedars.
