Funeral services have been set tentatively for 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Brooks chapel for Mrs. Ida Miller Dabbs, 78, of 121 Highland Avenue, Visalia, who died yesterday in the Visalia Hospital.
The burial will be in the Visalia District Cemetery beside the grave of her husband, Joseph, who died in 1932.
Mrs. Dabbs was a native of North Carolina but had lived in Visalia 30 years. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Ira D. Miller of Visalia; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Simmons of Tulare; a half brother, W. I. Ray of Johnson City, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Lulu Jane Pounds of Clarity, Okla.; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at Brooks Funeral Home for Mrs. Ida Miller Dabbs who died Sunday in Visalia. The Rev. P.H. Berg officiated at the services.
Casketbearers were Tom Bailey, Raymond Enlow, Earl Enlow, Grover Ropp, Orion Moore and Roy Saladin. Burial was in the Visalia District Cemetery.

Joseph R. Dabbs Dies In Visalia
Joseph Richard Dabbs, 80, died in the family home at 620 North Church Street last evening after a lengthy illness. A native of Tennessee, he was born on June 10, 1852. He had been a resident of Visalia for the past nine years and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ida Dabbs of Visalia and one stepson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the A.E. Brooks & Son Funeral Chapel. E. Rufus Connelly will officiate, and interment will be in the Visalia City Cemetery.
