Alice Elizabeth Hampton passed away on Saturday October the 1st at Restwell Home. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a retired seamstress with Doncaster Tanner. Alice was the daughter of the late Alfred and Halley Lynch, and the wife of the late Jonathan Van Hampton Jr. Left to cherish her memory are two children, a son William Lattimore of Greenhill, and daughter Wilmetta Travis of Goshen Indiana. Alice had two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Crowes Mortuary on Tuesday October the 4th 2011 from 6-8PM. Services will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Wednesday Oct the 5th at 11:00AM with the Rev. Brent Frady officiating.
