Sad Funeral Of Young Man.

Gilkey, Nov. 11. - John Lee Lynch, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Lynch, who resided about three miles west of Gilkey, was accidently killed by a train on the yards of the Hardy Burlington Coal Co., near Hazzard, Ky., in Wednesday morning, November 5th.

Mr. Lynch held a responsible position in the office of the coal mining company and at the time of his tragic death he was engaged in checking up a coal train when he was run over and instantly killed by another train which he did not see as it approached him.

Mr. Lynch was reared near Gilkey, but for the past ten years he has spent in Tennessee and Kentucky. Some years ago he married Miss Euraphine Henson, daughter of Judge Henson, of Henderson, Ky.

He leave behind a devoted wife and two precious children, a loving father and mother, one brother James Lynch of Winston-Salem, four sisters ----------- rest missing.
