When Francis Steed Will was written in 1733, his daughter Rachel Linch was named as inheriting one cow, one calf and a brooding mare. When Francis died and his will was probated in 1735, Rachel Linch inheritance was passed to William Linch. Since Rachel was named Rachel Linch in her father’s will which was written in August 1733, it is reasonable to think she and William were married before that date
